YYDC will bring full-length SOMEWHERE to the 45th Oriente Occidente Festival for an one night performance on Sept 5, 2025 in Rovereto, Italy.
SOMEWHERE is the second full length dance production within a trilogy of work conceived and choreographed by YYDC creative director Yue Yin premiered in 2024 at New York Live Arts in NYC. The work showcases Yue’s original and dynamic FOCO Technique, an admixture of traditional Chinese folk, ballet and western dance movement. SOMEWHERE explores the mystery of our bounded existence within a limitless universe. The work features immersive scenic design by Striped Canary and original musical score by Michel Banabila.
