YYDC will perform two repertories at Florence Dance Festival on July 1, 2015.
Ripple and Through The Fracture of Light will grace the outdoor stage at Florence Dance Festival this year for one night performance.
Ripple, created during the pandemic and premiered at 92NY MainStage Series in 2022 is an intimate and intricate group work consisting of several duets, the movement represents the spectrum between order and chaos. While our lives may seem caught up in the conflict between calmness and turbulence, there are moments of harmony when the balance is found.
Through The Fracture of Light, world premiered in 2016 is an ensemble work features original music that matches and enhances the earthy, elastic and fluid movement rooted in FoCo Technique. The dance flows through 35 min of unstopped energy representing the force and spirit we carry and drive.
