YYDC Artists Teaching Series: Nat Wilson

12/07/2024

Saturday, December 7th

10:00am – 1:00pm

New York Center for Creativity and Dance Studio 4

This workshop will focus on breaking the barriers between ourselves and the dancers we want to be. We will begin with a FoCo technique class led by Nat, which will serve as a warm up and establish the basis of Nat’s movement language. After the FoCo class, Nat will generate choreography and lead participants through both guided and improvisatory exercises, helping participants develop skills to take charge of their bodies. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how to physicalize their ambitions and the confidence to apply that understanding within a choreographic framework.
