YYDC will bring full length dance production ELSEWHERE to meet the audiences of TITAS DANCE/UNBOUND in Dallas, Texas for two performances on April 2-3, 2027.

ELSEWHERE, world premiered in 2025 presented by 92NY Women Move the World Season is a 70-minute, full-length dance work that received its world premiere as part of 92NY’s 2025 Women Move the World season. It marked the first time a New York City presenting organization supported one of YYDC’s performances with its theater, production and marketing resources. The initial two performances sold out within a month, prompting the addition of a third show.

Featuring an original score, and 8 dancers, ELSEWHERE was the third piece in a trilogy series exploring humanity, connection, and the search for meaning. I consider ELSEWHERE to be the fullest and most developed expression of FoCo Technique and my work as a choreographer, combining complex physical movement and musicality with diverse Asian folk traditions—including influences from China, Indonesia, Thailand, India, and South Korea—centered within a contemporary dance framework.
