Yue Yin Dance Company (YYDC) is an acclaimed contemporary dance company led by Artistic Director Yue Yin, recognized for its physically rigorous, viscerally expressive movement language known as FoCo Technique®. The company’s work bridges Eastern and Western sensibilities, combining technical precision with raw emotional presence.
Production & Stage Performance
YYDC presents both evening-length works and mixed-repertory programs for theaters, festivals, and international touring contexts. The company has been presented by leading institutions and festivals including 92NY, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Florence Dance Festival, Orsolina28, Oriente Occidente Dance Festival, Belgrade Dance Festival, and Schrittmacher Festival, among others, with performances across the United States and internationally.
Teaching & Community Engagement
YYDC offers a robust range of teaching and community engagement programs grounded in FoCo Technique®, including master classes, workshops, residencies, and intensives. Programming is designed for professional dancers, pre-professional students, and broader community participants, with offerings that require no prior dance experience. YYDC has led educational and engagement programs in cities across the United States as well as internationally, including Marseille, Paris, Toulouse, Amsterdam, Aachen, Turin and multiple locations throughout the USA.
