Advance Level FoCo Technique Class | Peridance

Mondays at 10:00am at Peridance (126 E13th Street, New York)

The Advance FOCO TECHNIQUE™ class at Peridance Center is a 90 min session and conducted in a follow-along method and the movement is closely aligned with the music.

During the first 55 min the instructor demonstrates sequences of movement based on the principles of FOCO while following a Three Stage structure:

• Activating – establishing the connections between mind and body
• Rooting – finding footing and building stability
• Mapping – understanding the transitions and pathways of movement phrases.

This streamlined method provides a scaffolding for developing precision, strength, stamina, and ability that promotes controlled, textured and nuanced movement qualities.

The second half of the class will focus on phrase work study. 

This class is hosted by Peridance Center and you are welcome to register in advance or in person via Peridance open class.
