Jacob's Pillow Festival "one night only" on the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage

Jacob’s Pillow Festival 2022 will feature 20 shows running for one night only on the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage. All performances are at 6 pm Eastern. Tickets go on sale to Members beginning March 7, then to the general public on April 6.

YYDC will close the festival on Saturday, August 27 at 6pm. Founded by internationally recognized performer and choreographer Yin Yue, YYDC comes to Jacob’s Pillow with two recent works. The first is Ember, a dynamic work that showcases the fusion of fold and contemporary movement that embodies Yue Yin’s choreography. Seeing Dance said the work’s “sheer volume of movement and its clarity is striking”.

The Second work is Ripple, an intricate and textured group work representing the spectrum between order and chaos, which premiered in 2021 at the 92nd Street NY in New York City. “Shifting from one distinct quality to another, Yue and her dancers sew contrary threads of energy together with marvelous dexterity. We become lost in pure movement fascination.” according to The Dance Enthusiast.
